Under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan two farmers kisan melas were organised by CAZRI KVK, Pali on 24th July, 2019 at Jaitaran block and Lototi village to make farmers aware about efficient use of water for agriculture. At Jaitaran, the programme was attended by more than 150 farmers and agriculture professionals. On this occasion the Chief Guest Mr. Dilip Choudhary, Ex-MLA, Jaitaran urged farmers to grow less water requiring crop varieties and use water conservation techniques. Guest of honour Mr. Malla Ram Sirvi, Ex-Pradhan, Jaitaran told farmers to use rainwater harvesting techniques and increase crop productivity. ON this occasion, Zila Parishad Members and Public Representatives also addressed the farmers regarding awareness on water scarcity and efficient use of water. IFFCO Chairman Mr. Rajendra Singh Kharra motivated farmers to use liquid fertilizers and avoid over use of fertilizers. Dr. Dheeraj Singh, KVK, Pali stressed on the need of drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation for cultivation of field crops. Dr. Mahendra Choudhary, KVK, Pali told farm.
